We have all had quite a year. 2020 is about to come to a close and most of us are looking forward to a brighter 2021.

I thought I would share a few “reset” ideas to help you start 2021 in a healthy, happy and more vibrant way.

I started down this path about 13 years ago, when I turned 40. I slowly started making changes to my exterior environment, which opened the door to allow interior changes to take place. As part of my book, I had to reflect on where my spiritual journey really started and I feel this was where it happened.

Some are small, easy changes, some are larger.

My hope is to inspire you to make the ones that feel right for you RIGHT NOW. You don’t need to make them all at once. It took me about 3 months to implement most of the changes I will be discussing in the next few days.

You can create a list in an order that works for you and incorporate them as you are able to.

Today’s reset idea is to think about what products you put on your body. I was shocked when I realized how toxic the face and body products I was using really were. The price tag doesn’t matter. Sometimes the most high end products are the most toxic.

I invite you to look at the labels in your bath, makeup and body products. Look at your soaps, body washes, shampoos and conditioners.

Opt for “clean” beauty products whenever you can. I waited until I would run out of a product and then I would replace it with a better option. Buy lotions at Farmer’s markets if you are able to. Look at websites like Neiman Marcus, http://neimanmarcus.com, Goop http://goop.com and Sephora http://sephora.com, which carry large selections of clean beauty.

Again, you don’t need to throw out everything you have. Go through your products, see where you can upgrade to clean beauty and make the change when possible.

People seem surprised when I tell them I am 53 and I honestly feel this is part of why I look the way I do. Using products with little or no chemicals is so much better for our bodies and our bodies will reflect that back to us.
